Cole Rocks! This past weekend we went to 2 different music events and Cole was in heaven. He claps along, stomps his feet and even runs up on stage to dance.
On Saturday we went to the local bookstore where they played the ukulele and read stories. At first Cole sat on my lap and then after looking around to all the big kids he promptly got off my lap to sit on his own. He scooted up to be right in front and when the scarfs came out he was leading the charge in twirling around and playing peek-a-boo.
On Sunday, we went to the Will Geer Theatre in Topango to see Birdie's Playhouse. After the first song, Birdie stopped the music to ask me Cole's name. She told everyone in the Theatre to look at him since he was doing perfect Flamenco arms and stomping his feet. She said that he inspired a Flamenco song and changed her play list so everyone could dance along with Cole. After, Birdie was looking for a volunteer to dance on stage with the elephant. Cole runs up and climbs up the steps to get the stuffed elephant and then dances with it while he is up on stage. Keep in mind he is the youngest kid there and he is loving it! He is a total little performer. And then when it is time to say good bye, he waves bye to EVERYONE and gives hugs and kisses. Everyone knows his name from the Flamenco and elephant dance and they are all saying "Bye Cole!" He is such a sweet little guy! (The only down side is I was without my camera ... bad mommy!)
